Hi! I’m James Hoard,
It all began in some time around 1998 when I was graduating high school and looking for what to do with myself. A friend introduced me to the structural steel detailing industry, and I never looked back. Although I started out as a detailer, I haven’t always been one. I worked for several firms in my 20+ years as a detailer, estimator, onsite project manager, and assistant project manager before venturing out on my own in 2016, returning to my roots as a structural steel detailer.
